No explosive bitcoin growth after halving
This is the opinion of Changpeng Zhao, the head of Binance. He thinks we should not expect a doubling of the value of the first digital currency immediately the day after the halving.
The Binance CEO suggested an approximate sequence of events:
Before the halving, there will be news, anxiety, expectations and hopes for months.
The day after the halving, the value will not show a 2x increase. Users will try to figure out why it didn't happen.
One year after the halving, the bitcoin price will renew its all-time high multiple times.
Rewards to miners are expected to halve in April 2024 when the block height reaches 840,000. At the time of the news, there are approximately 191 days left until the halving.
