In the next 30 years a good chunk of $142 trillion will be transferred from
- the Silent Generation ~ $18 tn
- Baby Boomers ~ $78 tn
- Generation X ~ $46 tn
to
- Millennials ~ $13 tn
But there is one big difference between Millennials and the previous generations.
Millennials are native of the internet, Bitcoin and digital assets.
Meanwhile crypto isn’t even on the map for most Baby Boomers and the majority of Gen Xers.
It will take a long time to play out for sure. But over the long term demographics does shape macroeconomics.
Don’t ignore the big picture.
